# List NEAR in the money market

This proposal, if approved, will list NEAR (asset 1001358) in the Hydration money market as collateral and as a borrowable asset, following its launch in the Omnipool.

Execution will:

- add NEAR to the money market with a `70%` LTV, `75%` liquidation threshold and `7%` liquidation bonus, priced by the NEAR/USD oracle
- set a supply cap of `248,459` NEAR and a borrow cap of `124,229` NEAR (~$1M and ~$500k at $4.02), with a `20%` reserve factor and the same interest rate curve as SOL, HYPE, ZEC and SPY
- register aNEAR (asset 1013) in the asset registry and accept it for fee payment
- register on-chain router routes between NEAR and every money-market asset outside the Omnipool so that liquidations can always settle, plus routes from HDX and WETH to aNEAR for fee pricing
- enable the NEAR/aNEAR pair in the ICE solver's routing, so intents involving aNEAR can be solved
- supply the Treasury's full NEAR balance (~4,341 NEAR) to the money market, converting it to aNEAR

# NEAR in the Money Market

This is a plan to add NEAR to the Hydration money market. People voted on it, and it is a "Root" track proposal.

- NEAR can be used as collateral (something you promise) and can be borrowed.
- It has a 70% loan-to-value, a 75% liquidation threshold, and a 7% liquidation bonus.
- The supply cap is 248,459 NEAR and the borrow cap is 124,229 NEAR (about $1M and $500k).
- It uses the same interest rate curve as SOL, HYPE, ZEC, and SPY.
- A token called aNEAR is registered and can be used to pay fees.
- Trading routes are made so liquidations can always be settled.
- The Treasury's NEAR balance (about 4,341 NEAR) is supplied to the market as aNEAR.
