# GIGAHDX HOLLAR Borrow Limit Increase

**What is it?**
A vote to let people borrow more HOLLAR using GIGAHDX.

**Key facts**

- Right now, the limit is `500,000` HOLLAR, and it is all used up.
- This vote would double the limit to `1,000,000` HOLLAR.
- The extra `500,000` is not given out all at once.
- It comes out slowly, in small steps, over about `22` days.
- Each day, about `22,222` more HOLLAR becomes available.
- Each small step is a limit, not free money. If nobody borrows, nothing happens.
- Nothing else changes — no new fees, no changes to how loans work.
- The last step is a tiny bit bigger so it ends exactly on `1,000,000`.

# Lower the aDOT Borrow Rate Curve

## What is it?
- A vote to change how much interest people pay to borrow DOT (called aDOT) on Hydration.
- It makes borrowing DOT cheaper for most people.

## What changes?
- The starting interest rate goes from 1% down to 0%.
- At 85% full, the rate drops from 4.5% to 2.75%.
- At 100% full, the rate stays at 49.5% (very high, to protect lenders).

## Why do it?
- DOT staking rewards went down recently.
- Cheaper borrowing helps a strategy called GDOT/vDOT looping work better.
- Right now about 40% of DOT is borrowed, and the rate there would fall from 2.66% to 1.31%.

## How does it work?
- Aave v3 rate strategies can't be edited, so a brand new one is deployed.
- The new strategy is at address 0xD3798D35EE1C552bB7C5Ee6641118cf800Ea565A.
- It has been tested on a copy of mainnet and worked correctly.

- Decentral will add $1,000,000 more space for BIL.
- The money is given out over seven days, not all at once.
- Each day, the deposit limit and borrowing limit go up a little.
- On days 1–5, people can also borrow HOLLAR right away.
- The Treasury itself takes the last two days, 300,000 total.
- Of the new space, 700,000 is for users and 300,000 is for the Treasury.
- The Treasury borrows PRIME and trades it for HOLLAR over the week to pay for its part.
- The plan was tested carefully on test networks before being submitted.

# Hydration Node v53.0.0

**Hydration Node v53.0.0** is a planned update for a computer program called Hydration. It is mostly about making something called **ICE** work better.

- This update is called **v53.0.0**.
- It focuses on **ICE improvements**.
- Synth transaction hashes stay **stable** even when the system reorganizes.
- It adds **repatriate reserved** support for ERC20.
- ICE now uses **repatriate reserved** instead of transfer.
- It fixes a problem with **dca intent** first execution.
- It adds **Uniswap support** for ICE.
- It also fixes **Aave executor** gas limits and adds better **coretime alerts**.

# Moving prices to CheckedOracles

**CheckedOracles** are a new kind of price machine. They only accept a new price if it matches the real market. If it doesn't match, they keep the old price.

- Six price feeds will use CheckedOracles: apyUSD and PRIME for the money market, plus four pool pegs (PRIME, apyUSD, wstETH, and jitoSOL).
- Right now, these prices only change when people vote. That is slow and risky.
- On 4 September, the PRIME price was wrong for days. It said 1.00 when the real price was about 1.06. This could have hurt borrowers.
- CheckedOracles stop wrong prices like that. Prices also cannot run too far ahead of the real market.
- After the change, PRIME's price goes up about 1%. The four pool pegs slowly move to their new prices. This takes about 10 to 17 days.
- No one's position becomes unsafe or gets liquidated.
- The apyUSD oracle is holding its price steady right now on purpose, because the feed and the pool do not agree yet.
- The change was tested on a test network since 18 September and worked well.

# Neckwork Treasury Proposal

**Neckwork** is a tool that reads and shows what happens on the Hydration blockchain. It is asking for money to keep running.

- It asks for **17,776 HOLLAR** (about **2,222 a month**) from August 2026 to March 2027.
- Two of the eight months are for work already done.
- It is already **running**, not just a plan.
- Since August it shows the app's history, charts, and stats.
- The old indexer was too slow, so it was retired in September.
- It also has dashboards for money, security, and voting.
- Everything is **open source** and can be self-hosted by anyone.
- It replaces Subscan, which cost more and did less.

In short: pay for a real, working tool that Hydration **owns** instead of rents.

# GDOT Return Referendum

## What is this?
This is a vote about moving money back to a group called the Hydration Treasury.

## Key facts
- It returns **24,773 GDOT** (about **$26,400**) to the Treasury.
- This GDOT was sitting in **28 stopped farms** that no longer give out rewards.
- The money was never given to anyone, so it would just stay stuck forever.

## What is not affected
- **918 people** who still have money in these farms keep everything.
- Their rewards are safe and can still be claimed like normal.
- A separate pot of **10,813 GDOT** that belongs to users is not touched.

## How it works
- **11 farms with no users left** are closed, sending **11,071 GDOT** back.
- **17 farms that still have users** are kept open. Only the extra GDOT is swept out, sending **13,702 GDOT** back.

## Was it tested?
- Yes. It was tested on a copy of the real blockchain.
- All **39 steps worked** with no errors.
- The Treasury got exactly **24,773.03 GDOT**.
