# Launch HYPE in the Omnipool

This proposal, if approved, will list HYPE (asset 1001355) in the Omnipool, following the OTC accumulation of 200,000 HOLLAR worth of HYPE.

Execution will:

- transfer `2,050` HYPE (~$166.5k) from the Treasury to the Omnipool account
- add HYPE to the Omnipool at a launch price of `14.4123` H2O per HYPE (HYPE $81.23, H2O $5.636 at build time), with a `5%` weight cap and the liquidity position owned by the Treasury
- register the on-chain router route from WETH to HYPE, so EVM fee pricing and other route consumers can reach the new asset

Listing HYPE in the money market will follow in a separate referendum.

- A group wants to add a new digital token called HYPE to a trading pool.
- They will move 2,050 HYPE (about $166,500) from the community's savings to the pool.
- HYPE will start trading at a set price.
- Only a small part of the pool (5%) will be HYPE at first.
- The community's savings will own the HYPE part of the pool.
- They will also set up a path so other tokens can be traded for HYPE.
- A group called the Technical Committee needs to say "yes" first.
- Adding HYPE to the money market will happen later in a different vote.
