Why XAUt and not PAXG? PAXG has monthly audits and follows NYDFS/MAS regulation while tether doesn't want to get audited on its reserves. Tether seems to be more shady in this matter while PAXG has more transparency. Why not diversify on a reliable source for tokenized gold?

Also Hydration already has reserves from Tether in the form of USDT, it would be better to diversify its reserve issuers to mitigate risks.

What is more PAXG has better accessibility for retail given that is listed on Binance, Coinbase, etc. while XAUt not.

PAXG is better than XAUt in every way, if you look at market capitalization it has 1.1B dollars and is ranked #76 while XAUt has 934M of market capitalization and is ranked #84 on CMC.

There is no reason to use XAUt over PAXG.

I think GIGASOL could bring more TVL to Hydration & further help dispel the notion that Polkadot has no DeFi/wallets etc from external people.

I believe the previous SOL boost helped there too and this would double down on it.

As for the gold, not my cup of tea, but one for the boomers for sure.

As I always say, hydration (not us) needs to like all assets that users like. Everything else is just a matter of limited resources and priorities.

This thread is incredibly ambitious.
